The primary focus of the organisation is to encourage the growth of small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) through the provision of direct opportunities for more business, access to training, and the provision of business networking opportunities. UKITA also promotes the credentials and image of the industry in general, linking itself to strategic organisations such as the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET).
