Honory Secretary – Keith Simpson FIFS ACIB
Founding board member and former Chair of PINWM representing the Institute of Financial Services formerly the Chartered Institute of Bankers where he was West Midlands President.
A commercial banker he was Area Director for Lloyds in Birmingham up to 2007, then Group COO for Liquidity leading up to its sale to Santander in 2009. He now spends much of his time with business growth specialists Technolink. He also works with the British Independent Retailers Association banking subsidiary on regulatory matters. He says “lifelong learning is a real passion for me and PINWM offers so many opportunities to learn and meet other professionals – I find it invaluable.”

Immediate Past President – Bernard Shepherd
Bernard is a highly-experienced solicitor, with a significant profile within the West Midlands legal community. As a past president of the Birmingham Law Society, Walsall Law Association and the West Midland Law Societies, he has played a major role in representing the profession and championing excellence. His years of dedication to the profession saw him presented with the Inspiring Leader award by Birmingham Future in 2010, and being nominated for the National Legal Personality of the Year in 2011.
The owner of his own firm for many years, Bernard has particular expertise in Property and Private Client work. A firm believer in listening to the client and providing honest and straightforward advice, Bernard enjoys working in a firm which places the good of the clients above all else.

Chartered and Certified Financial Planner. ISO22222 Accredited. ‘Joint PFS Chartered Champion’ for the Birmingham Region between 2012/15. PINWM President 2014/16. Managing Director of Clear Solutions Wealth & Tax Management Ltd with offices in Birmingham and Burton on Trent. My objective for PINWM over the next two years is to substantially increase it’s profile to both the Birmingham based professional Institutes and their members.
