CIM Social means business

Share

Despite the detractors and luddites, social media is still here and continues to evolve. Facebook was 10 years old in February 2014, Twitter has come of age and Instagram has seen incredible recent growth. Social media is now a part of everyday life for individuals and businesses alike and that fact cannot be escaped.

This practical event combines a seminar and workshops focussed on providing an update on best practice and use of social media for those that already use or plan to extend their application of using social media to grow their business.

Specifically delegates attending this event can expect to learn how to:
• Critically evaluate the relative strengths of different social media channels.
• Build an appropriate social media strategy for your own organisation.
• Deploy a range of tactics to get the most out of your social media strategy.
• Ensure that your social media activities are integrated with the broader communications and marketing plan.
• Measure and monitor your social media activities to demonstrate return on investment.

This event is the first of a series of events to be held at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park, a place for developing technological innovations. Easily accessible from the A449/Stafford Road there is free onsite parking.
