Leadership Development Workshop

As an emerging leader, understanding your own personality preferences and style of communication is a vital skill. This session uses a well-established psychometric model to help you better understand your own style – both how and why you communicate in the way you do, and the impact this has on others.

You’ll also gain a greater understanding of alternative communication styles and how you can use this to build stronger relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

This lively, practical and enjoyable session will be led by Jay Lutwyche, Learning & Development Business Partner at Shakespeare Martineau. Jay has been leading the firm’s highly-rated Academy for learning and development, having gained experience in similar roles at three other leading law firms in the past 15 years. Jay specialises in skills development, particularly leadership, communication and teamwork, through training, coaching and the use of psychometrics.

This event has been designed to complement the BPS Birmingham Future Leadership Development Programme; a nine-month course we run in partnership with Aston Business School. Whether you’re on the course, or are an emerging leader within your own firm, this session is definitely for you.

Places are strictly limited to 30.
