The Law Society

The Law Society represents the 135,000 solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession’s regulators, government and others, to offering training and advice, the role of the Law Society is to help, protect and promote solicitors across England and Wales. There are 7,500 solicitors in the West Midlands.

Our aims within the West Midlands region are to:

• work with solicitor members to understand their needs in order to represent their interests within the Law Society.
• inform solicitors of Law Society services and activities taking place in their region.
• promote the profession to outside bodies (for example media, businesses, and professional organisations).
