CIMA – Women in business: impact and authenticity
Psychologists have proven that that if we feel good about our appearance, we grow in confidence resulting in a positive impact on those around us.
We are pleased to welcome three speakers who will look at how to present yourselves as professional and polished individuals letting your personality and values shine through and how these values have helped them to develop their careers. We are pleased to welcome Myriam Madden, FCMA GCMA, CIMA’s president.
Deborah Ogden will look at how to:
- develop a strong, authentic personal brand
- communicate with impact – both verbal and non-verbal communication
- how to exude presence and gravitas
- do it, be it – raise profile as the expert in your field.
Deborah’s presentations are full of practical tools and techniques which the audience will benefit from immediately. She uses stories and anecdotes to bring the subject to life and keep it informative and enjoyable. Deborah’s approach centres around increasing personal impact and how to make an impression, from body language and visual impact to communication skills and understanding how these impact on the people around you.
We will also hear from Gillian Karran-Cumberlege, co-founder of Fidelio Partners, a board development and executive search consultancy who will talk about her experience on main boards and her experience in the search consultancy business and offer advice.
