Mock Tribunal – Student Event

This exciting event is being hosted by Higgs and Sons to stage a mock tribunal from start to finish.  All roles will be played by associates from the firm, Judge, Lawyers and Witnesses.  There will be a bundle of documents in advance and witness statements.  the witnesses will give their evidence and they will be cross examined.

The event will be based on a real case which went to tribunal last year.  It concerns a delivery man who urinated on the wheel of his lorry early one morning when approaching the security hut of the Employer’s customer.  He was as a result, dismissed and brought a claim arguing that the sanction applied was outside the band of reasonable response of a reasonable employer.

Please note, this event will be run at Higgs and Sons seperately for non students or those who are unable to attend.
