Katie helps clients to achieve their commercial objectives by negotiating the best contractual position. Katie advises clients on a wide range of contracts. Her recent instructions include advising and drafting terms and conditions of sale/purchase (including advice on consumer legislation), international distribution agreements, joint venture agreements, agency agreements for commercial agents and franchise agreements.

 

Data Protection

Katie has extensive experience in advising businesses and organisations in relation to all types of data protection issues and a wide range of compliance issues, including GDPR implementation issues.

 

Shana Quinn, Paralegal

Shana is a commercial contracts lawyer.  She joined Higgs & Sons in 2015. Data protection is the main focus area for her.

Shana’s understanding of her clients’ businesses enables Shana to provide them with pragmatic, clear commercial advice.  Shana’s recent work includes reviewing, drafting and working with her clients to negotiate commercial contracts, agency and distribution agreements and secrecy arrangements as well as preparing standard terms and conditions of supply/purchase (both business to business and business to consumer).
